Mayura had her dance training from the two best Bharat Natyam teachers at the Performing Arts College, Baroda, India. She owes her artistic and creative vision of expressions to her first Guru (teacher) Professor Kubernath Tanjorkar. Mayura completed her Bachelors and Masters Degree under the training and guidance of world known Padmashree Prof
C V Chandrashekhar. She also gained some music training from her own father, Shri Thakorbhai Patel, a profound harmonium teacher at the same college.
